Incredibly Alone

The 17 year old hastily ran her fingers through her long dark hair, her light green eyes darting around warily. Happy that no-one was around, She sat on the ground, pulling her knees up to her chest. She laid her head onto her knees and let her mind wander aimlessly, trying to avoid thinking about the only family she had left.
Faye and Prop.
She sighed slowly. She loved them yes, but they were so different to her. Prop was a practical joker. Faye was practically a genius. A child prodigy and there was her. Cold, unfeeling, monotonous Marion.
She had never felt so incredibly alone in her life.

[Taylor Manford]

A 16 year old blonde, wearing a short pink skirt, over-knee white socks, dolly shoes and a tight blue top walked around the corridor, humming to herself as she walked. she had a good feeling about today, or was that just the vibe she got from the song on the radio on her way to school. either way she didnt care, she slowed down until she stopped and raised an eyebrow at the student sitting on the floor.

Marion felt someone's eyes on her so she looked up and inwardly rolled her eyes. Fantastic. Just when she wanted some alone time. She kept her eyes and face free of any emotion.
"Can I help you?" she asked dully, monotonously. She was good at this, hiding how she really felt, appearing to others as cold and rude.

[Taylor Manford]

Taylor looked at her for a few seconds then let the students words process.
"I Dont think its me that needs help. you look a little, weird..sitting on the floor in the corridor.." She put a hand on her hip casually and ran her fingers through her hair with the other hand.

"Do I look like I care?" Marion growled slightly. "Walk on and ignore me. Everybody does so why should you be any different?" She slowly stood up, dusting off her skinny jeans and straighting her black shirt as she did so.

Taylor blinked slightly, she hadnt exactly expected that reaction.
"Well the way your mouth works sounds like you do!" she could tell that the student was acting rude and she didnt like it

Marion rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say." she said more calmly than before, but her eyes were still guarded and blank. She turned and opened up her locker, pulling out two books before shutting it, a little harder than she would have usually.

Taylor concntrated on the student, then wagged her finger slightly.
"I Like you.." she said. as if rating her for her actions and tone of voice. "My names Tay. Taylor Manford"

Marion turned, raising an eyebrow in the process. Someone liked her? outside the family? wow. that was a first. "Marion." she replied coolly. "Marion Redwood."

Taylor nodded slightly.
"Nice to meet you Marion"

"You too." Marion replied. Suddenly she frowned. "Why are you even talking to me?" She raised an eyebrow quizzically. "Most people tend to ignore me completely."

She raised her eyebrow.
"Because you were on the floor and you spoke to me.."

"Well you were staring at me" Marion muttered. "I don't like being stared at, it makes me uncomfortable."
She sighed slightly, unsure as to why the hell she didn't just leave whilst she could.

" i was staring because you were sitting on the floor in the corridor...no one does that!" She crossed her arms slightly and looked around.
"God..where is that freak with my text books?!" she leaned against the lockers impatiently. "i knew emo's were useless but seriously.." She jumped slightly as someone tapped her shoulder.

Joe raised his eyebrow at her comment. "Useless?...seriously you think im useless? jeez you cant even work out calculus.." He held out the books to her, puts hands in back pockets as she takes it. he looked at her oddly then looked at Marion. "whos the friend?"
